WHOOSH.

I FINALLY, FINALLY FINISHED THE DAMN COMMONWEALTH ESSAY. YEP. ALL ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN WORDS OF IT.

22 days late.

I think I've broken a record somewhere.

Though I honestly think it sucks, big time. It's just so rushed and there's absolutely no plot whatsoever. It was either risking a plotless story or an over-word-limit- one. Of course, I chose the easy way out. Though I'm still not satisfied, but - oh!- whatever.

I still have ting xie and ss test to study for. And NYAA reflectionS to write. By tonight.

On an equally complaining note, Karon met Tsonga at the airport yesterday. Mind you, I'm not complaining about that. After all, it's not Nadal or Djokovic whom she met. BUT BUT BUT. Apparently Tsonga was freakking dao?

In Karon's words, "His face is forever up in the air, and he can't see anything below his chin." Because she initially refused to say exactly why she was so pissed at Tsonga, I thought that meant she and Tsonga crashed into each other, or something.

Turned out that Tsonga just ignored her when she requested to take a photo with him. Tsk. Nevermind Karon, Tsonga's just uncultured and boorish, and thinks he's oh-so-great just because he got to the finals. It's not like he's someone who matters and is important, like - oh I don't know - Nadal or Djokovic xD

OOH, YEAH.

DJOKOVIC WON. DJOKOVIC WON THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN. DJOKOVIC WON TSONGA.

4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6.

HA. TAKE THAT, TSONGA. 3-1. HANDS DOWN.

Channel 5 delayed the match, though. So I have to watch it later. It's no longer live D:

BUT. DJOKOVIC WON <3

SHARAPOVA WON IVANOVIC. SHARAPOVA WON THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN.

Just saying. I'm not a great fan of either one xD

And... this is abit late. But, Djokovic won Federer. And broke Fed's record run of 10 consecutive Grand Slam finals. AND 19 match unbeaten Australian Open runs.

Like, WOOHOO. Just because I don't like Federer's face xD

The first time since '05 that Nadal and Federer aren't in the finals. I felt like crying again earlier when I read yesterday's Sports page. Like, wth. TSUNAMI TSONGA?!

Really, though. I wouldn't have had anything against Tsonga, if not for the fact that he beat Nadal, and in straight sets. AND not even having to reach tiebreak. So, yeah, well. Suckerr.

quarterfinals

Hewitt lost to Djokovic. Big surprise. Sense the sarcasm.

SOSOSO.
Quarterfinals approach with:
1. Federer (1)
2. Nadal (2)
3. Djokovic (3)
4. Ferrer (5)
5. Blake (12)
6. Youzhny (14)
7. Nieminen (24)
8. Tsonga

Seems like Tsonga's the dark horse this year. hmm. It's quite sad, though, that only 4 out of the top ten seeds remain >:( But Nadal's still standing tall. You cannot lose to Federer, I tell you :D
